Allergy Relief Tea

An herbal tea that aims to give you a bit of relief from the symptoms of seasonal allergies.

Instructions

  1. Start the brew.

    Add the dried herbs to a tea strainer. Place the strainer and dried orange slice (if you're using it) in your mug of choice. Top with hot water. Cover with a small plate and allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.

  2. Drain & sweeten.

    Remove the cover and take the strainer out. Stir in local to you, raw honey until your tea is sweet to your liking.

  3. Sip & enjoy.

    Sip slowly, it could still be hot. You'll start to feel relief in a just a few minutes.

Notes & tips

  • When the whole family is suffering, I multiply the recipe and make this tea in a French press.

Storage

  • You can make a large batch of the herb mix (keep your ratios the same!) and scoop a couple teaspoons of the mix when you're ready. Store your mix in an airtight jar in a dark, cool place.
